According to my parents, I can't drink until I finish uni because it's illegal and bad for my mental development and because my parents didn't get to start until they were in their early twenties. then they start going on about how I'm going to end up being addicted to it and how my kid is going to end up retarded if I'm an alcoholic.. LOL. They talk about it like I've been snorting cocaine or injecting heroin or something.. bloody hell.
Lulz. What a joke. Talk about being hypocritical.. and overprotective..
Goddamn it, my parents sent me to Vietnam for a month, where simply crossing the street or eating/drinking from a street vendor is taking a gamble with your life.
No drinking... Really? Despite the fact that most of my parents' friends get wasted every public holiday, despite the fact that males in Australia start drinking from like 15-18 years..
Really, I understand where they're coming from, wanting to shelter me from anything that can be potentially harmful.. and I really do love them, but still.. come on... Really? On the plus side, I'm definitely going to get a gym membership now.
Fuck it, not going to drink until I'm actually 18 so they don't have the law on their side. Just over two months. After that, back to normal.
